The St Joseph`s Newsround Team were formed to report on topical events and issues taking place within our school. During the school year their aim is to produce a Newsround DVD. The team are responsible for filming, interviewing, taking photographs, publishing and production. A new Newsround Team is selected every year.
The Episode 1 DVD was successfully produced in the 2006/07 term and shown during a special assembly to the whole school. The team were also responsible for St Joseph`s achieving “school of the week” on Swansea Bay Radio.
This year not only will the team be working towards Episode 2, they will also focus on our new live television station “St Joseph`s TV” via which they will broadcast a live Newsround show every week at 3:00pm on a Friday afternoon which will be available to watch in every classroom.
